get your wings back
Living abroad comes with unique challenges—adjusting to a new culture, navigating cross-cultural relationships, or struggling to find English-speaking support that truly aligns with your needs. Whether you’re an expat, nomad, or a traveling artist seeking flexible care, it can feel isolating to find someone who genuinely gets you in a culturally responsive, trauma-informed way.
If you’re feeling stuck—like a caged bird—you’re not alone. Many people who come to me for support feel this way. Maybe you’re longing for escape but unsure how to break free.
When life feels overwhelming, it can seem like too much.
Do You Feel Stressed, Lost, or Overwhelmed?
Does any of this sound familiar?
- You feel lonely, like no one truly understands this life you’re living.
- Adjusting to a new culture is wearing you down more than you expected.
- It’s hard to find someone who gets you and speaks your language—literally.
- Your relationships feel strained by distance, culture, or misalignment.
- Past wounds are resurfacing, and managing them on your own feels harder than ever.
If you’re nodding along, know this: it’s okay to feel this way. Your struggles are valid and more common than you might think. Prioritizing your self-care doesn’t mean you’re selfish—it means you’re making space to show up for yourself and the people you care about.

Go Wild, Not Feral

Through a relational-somatic approach—integrating body-based awareness with the healing power of human connection—I offer psychotherapy that helps you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered, no matter where you are in the world. Drawing on Somatic Experiencing®, along with neuroscience, attachment theory, trauma theory and depth psychology with a liberation lens, my work is flexible, culturally attuned, and responsive to the experiences of global citizens, artists, and those forging a path in unfamiliar places.
Imagine a life where you…
- In the words of Dolly Parton, “Figure out who you are and do it on purpose.”
- Create a life that is interesting and meaningful to you.
- Feel genuinely at home in yourself, no matter where in the world you are.
- Fiercely trust yourself in any situation.
- Learn how to social butterfly enough to have community wherever you go.
- Roam with resilience.
This work is about helping you rise above the challenges you’re facing, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life you actually want to live.
Even If It Feels Impossible
Maybe you’re not sure anyone will really understand you or your life. That’s okay. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life navigating cross-cultural experiences—whether settling into a new country, navigating cultural dynamics in relationships, or searching for support that gets them. Together, we’ve reconnected them to their sense of self, built resilience, and made life feel a little more like home.
How It Works
Psychotherapy services are delivered through one-on-one, 50-minute sessions tailored to your unique situation. This is an active, collaborative process. In each session, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you and use somatic and relational approaches to overcome it.
Here’s what the process looks like:
- We’ll start by creating a space where you can be yourself—safe, seen, and understood.
- By listening to your experiences, we’ll uncover patterns, stressors, and challenges that hold you back.
- We’ll focus on what you need most, whether it’s calming your nervous system, managing stress, or navigating tough situations.
- Together, we’ll clarify what you truly want and map out a path to get there.
- Using somatic and relational tools—grounded in the science of trauma recovery—we’ll reconnect you to yourself and support you in building the life you want.
- Over time, you’ll feel more grounded, resilient, and at home in your body and your life.
Research shows that this kind of support can help you grow your capacity for life’s struggles, let go of the internal noise holding you back, and show up more fully in your life and relationships.
